El Libro de los verbos y DP Update

Today we worked on our libro de verbos
Go to this quizlet and copy down the 36 most common verbs in Spanish with their English translation. 

We also updated our DP.
For your DP you will need the following:
  • A photo of your Calaca
  • Your  written Poema Calavera
  • An introduction to the project (A short paragraph)
  • A reflection about the project (A short paragraph)
Make sure your binders are organized by the end of Tuesday.

Today we continued working on or calacas or skeleton figurines. 
You should be done with painting by the end of the day.

When you finish painting you should be working on a papel picado.

Project Work Time - Las Calacas (the Skeletons)

Today a full day of project work time to work on our art pieces. We will have one more day in class to work tomorrow. 

We will have an ofrenda in the classroom this week. Bring in an item that reminds you of the person you are creating for your sculpture.
Options could be:
  • A picture
  • A trinket
  • A piece of clothing
  • Anything that reminds you of the person
